I'm 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant today!

This week...
- baby's brain is growing at a mind-boggling 100 cells per minute within a see-through skull.
- baby's face is becoming more defined this week.
- Baby's arm buds are growing. At this point they look more like microscopic ping-pong paddles than arms. Baby's leg buds are also forming and will look like tiny paddles by the end of the week.
- The umbilical cord is now visible.
- baby is now between 1/3 and 1/4 inch long—about the length of a Tic Tac and about as heavy as an eyelash.

I nick-named the baby this week Rex because it has a big head and little arms! Oh and a tail lol!
Pregnancy Symptoms: I'm starving every 2 hours. My stomach always just doesn't feel right.
Cravings: I craved steak this week.
Baby Movement: No movement yet of course.
Exercise: Only exercise last week was taking Evan to the park.
Weight Gain: Weight hasn't changed.
Baby Belly: nothing has changed
Gender: We are still hoping for a girl!
I saw the nurse for blood work and filled out a bunch of papers. The official due date is Nov. 5th not the 4th like I had thought. But, we are hoping to have a scheduled C-section on Oct. 24th. which would mean 32 more weeks!
We are slowly getting Evan's room ready for him to share with his new sibling. We bought a new mattress, bed and night stand this weekend. Right now we have a mattress on the floor so he can get use to it. For his birthday he got a new Cars 2 bed set that he LOVES! It doesn't match the nursery but that's ok.
