My 3 year old, Owen, loves to help out in the kitchen. Today we decided to make an afternoon snack for when his older brother got out of school. We made these Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Energy Balls. They loved them and so did I and the hubby! Two to three is enough to satisfy a sweet tooth and keep you energized in between meals.
1 cup Peanut Butter
1/3 cup Honey
1/2 Tbs. Flax Seed
1/2 Tbs. Chia Seed
Mix together in a medium bowl or food processor (use the dough blade). Roll into balls or use a small ice cream scooper. Place in fridge. Yields 16-17 protein balls.
