7 weeks pregnant!

According to 3dpregnancy.parentsconnect.com:
This week...
  • baby's eyelids, ears, upper lip and the tip of his soon-to-be adorable button nose are forming.
  • Junior will also sprout webbed fingers and toes this week—which you'll be well aware of in a few months, as baby starts early gymnastics classes inside you.
  • Baby's tiny heart has separated into four distinct chambers and is really ticking now—at a rate of 150 beats per minute. That's more than twice your resting heart rate (even when Brad Pitt is on the screen).
  • baby is now a little more than ½ inch long, about the size of the rock in Nicole Richie's engagement ring, and is about as heavy as the check Joel Madden wrote to pay for it.
Baby looks like...

Pregnancy Symptoms: I'm nauseous all the time! It ticks me off when my Hubby asks me what's wrong...shouldn't he just know hahaha!

Cravings: I can only stomach foods that are refreshing. This week I can't stand meat which is weird because last week I craved steak.

Baby Movement: No movement yet of course.

Exercise: I'm working on toning my legs and arms for a wedding I'm in, in August. Also, I'm doing 35min of cardio; walking, eliptical, stationary bike. I get bored easily so I usually switch after 10min. Example: 10min bike for a good warm-up, 10min eliptical to raise my heart rate, then 10min on treadmill with a medium incline or hills followed by a 5 min cool down. Then, of course lots of stretching.

Weight Gain/Loss: Weight hasn't changed. Dr. said I should only gain about 20 pounds. I gained a ton with Evan because I didn't drink enough water so, the water that I did have I retained it. Plus, I was going to school 55hrs a week and had a part-time job. I rarely packed a lunch so, we would order in food for every meal.

Baby Belly: nothing has changed

Gender: We are still hoping for a girl!

Last week I had my first visit to the Dr. She took an external ultrasound so she could see the heart beat. She said everything looked good. Baby only looks like a ball with a flicker in the middle. We couldn't see much because it was external and still very early.

Even though I'm sick all of the time and have no energy to do anything at all, I am thankful. If I didn't feel so crappy I would be worried something was wrong. Baby is giving me a constant reminder that he/she is there and to take good care of it.

I've been take Centrum Prenatal vitamins which is a big mistake. For some reason I thought when your pregnant you HAVE-TO take "prenatal" vitamins. Which you do! But, I did some research on my Shaklee vitmins and the Vitilzer has folic acid and DHA already in it. So, there is no need to switch vitamins!
